about

i didn't really have any expectations when i started working on this, just that i wanted to make something heavy and kind of loud. the album itself is really brief but after i finished it i realized how much it captures what i like about writing/producing music. idk it just came out so gritty but the song writing itself is really human. my only goal when making something is to just write songs in line with my sensibilities from before i made music. just to make something i wouldn't have switched off so i could listen to gold panda or justice or something. i spent a lot of time figuring out how to consciously make what i wanted, and as time went on that question only got bigger and more confusing. when you really sit down and think about your art though its more or less immeasurable, even if you're making trash garbage after making something truly decent it all has some place in your head where it occupies space and dictates your artistic instinct. once you finally embrace the trash you can start to work through your expectations and start surprising yourself again. anyway thats my tedtalk thanks for coming.

i wanna give thanks to my Brothers those fellas that encouraged and inspired me to make any music to begin with and always gave my fuckin garbage a listen and some feedback until it became somewhat listenable over time. and a real big thanks to the supporters who are probably the only reason i bother releasing stuff. ur all epic in my heart so thanks a million sunshine.
